This mix includes species which should grow well if your soil is mildly acid. Many wild flower species will only grow in neutral to alkaline soils, but some species can cope with a certain amount of acidity.

Perennial seed mixes take some time to get established, so it can be a good idea to sow Cornfield Annuals seed at the same time to give some colour in the first year.
